Come and Go Communion Services

Both Irvington UMC and Webster UMC will be holding Come and Go Communion Services this year. IUMC will be in the sanctuary from 5-6:00pm. WUMC will be in their sanctuary from 11-12:00am. Webster is holding the Come and Go Communion Service in place of the traditional Midnight Service due to COVID-19 restrictions and the inability to social distance.

The Come and Go Service gives each family the chance to come in, receive the Lord's Supper and pray in silence, peace, and privacy.

Community Thanksgiving Service

UPDATE: 11-30-20 The video for the virtual service can be found at:

COVID has created an interesting year for everyone and everything, and the IAMA Community Thanksgiving Service is no exception to the rule. This year, the Thanksgiving service will be held online via Zoom.

Wherever you are, join us for a celebration of all for which we are thankful. You can use the link below on Tuesday, November 24 at 7:00 Eastern to join in.

You are also welcome to join us at IUMC in the fellowship hall to view the service if you are comfortable and able. Please make sure you are wearing your mask.

Healing Prayer Class

Beginning the first week in November (day to be determined) Bro. Josh will be holding a Healing Prayer class. The class takes place over 11 weeks and will be in person but social distancing will be observed by holding the class in the sanctuary.

This is an amazing opportunity to grow your prayer life by exploring everything from the will of God in prayer to the spirit in which prayer should be offered and be able to pray more confidently. There are no fees or books for this class.

Tuesday Adult Bible Study is on hold until 2021

Bro. Josh will be starting a new class for Tuesdays for the remainder of the year so be sure to watch for updates on when that will start and what time it will be. The Bible study will return at the beginning of next year (the beginning of February) with in-person options possibly available, weather permitting.

Recovery Meetings

Recovery meetings (AA and NA) are held here at the church on Mondays (NA) and Fridays (AA) from 8-9pm (est). These are open meetings and newcomers are encouraged to attend.

Operation Christmas Child

UPDATE: We sent 63 boxes to OCC!! That is 20 more than last year. We should find out soon where those boxes were sent.

We are participating in Operation Christmas Child again this year though it will look a little different. There is a link on the homepage for all the information on building boxes. If you would like to donate items there is a box in the sanctuary. If you would like to make a monetary donation see Rebecca Pack or mail donations to the church with Operation Christmas Child specified. We will be packing boxes on November 12th at 6pm (est) at the church. Please be in prayer for those packing boxes and for the children that will receive them.

DVDs of Sunday morning services

UPDATE: 11-30-20 - We have run into some issues with the video and the sound so DVDs are not currently available. We are working to fix the issue and hopefully will be back to offering DVDs soon!

There are DVDs available of the Sunday morning services. If you would like to have one sent to you simply contact the church and let them know. If you call please leave a voicemail. DVDs will be sent out each week or every other week as necessary in the mail.
